Hello, my name is John Wiedmann.  This is my third year at St. Ann’s as the eighth grade homeroom teacher.  I’ve taught for the last thirty-eight years in the St. Louis Archdiocesan school system both in elementary and high school.  Besides having an eighth grade homeroom, I teach 6^th through 8^th grade English, 7^th and 8^th grade Literature, and 8^th grade Math.  I enjoy teaching 8^th grade because it is such an exciting time for the students here at St. Ann’s; Fright Night, the eighth grade musical, applying and being accepted into high school, the eighth grade trip, and graduation make eighth grade a special time to share with students.
